Problem

PeopleNet needed a system to manage course scheduling, enrollment, and administration — spanning a server-side application and a WordPress-facing signup experience.

My role

  • Lead developer, owning the base codebase for both backend and frontend.
  • Maintained and extended the server-side application (Blazor, Dapper, Entity Framework) and the customer-facing signup flow (React, TypeScript, WordPress, PHP).

Approach

  • Built and maintained the server-side application in Blazor with Dapper and Entity Framework against SQL Server.
  • Developed new modules and optimized existing ones across the stack, including a WordPress-integrated signup form and data-extraction tooling.
  • Deployed and ran parts of the platform on Azure.

Outcome

  • Lead developer on the platform for three years, covering everything from backend data access to the public-facing signup experience.
  • Demonstrates .NET breadth beyond Entity Framework and Web APIs — including Blazor as a UI framework — alongside the WordPress/PHP work also on the CV.
